Keeping Cool in the Summer

I recommend figuring out when you have the most energy and scheduling your priority activties during the time you have the most energy.

We must avoid direct heat and intense sunlight when taking atypical medications for schizophrenia.

This is one time where I recommend going to a library, matinee movie, or staying inside your apartment wherever you have air conditioning.

I expect next week to return with new insights.

One thing I recommend is changing your dining table decor every season to boost your mood.

For summer I placed a colorful plaid tablecloth on the table with an Asian vase filled with orange silk zinnia flowers.

I recommend for those of us who take pills with food to buy from the Container Store online an a.m. – p.m. 7-day pill box. It’s a 7-day pill box that has two compartments for each day for the a.m. and the p.m.

If you travel in the summer keep your medication in your carry-on bag because suitcases can get lost.

That’s about all I’ll write for now
